I just wanted to ask you if you remember presenting the Saturday Scene Pop Awards of 1975!!. I was a regular Saturday Scene viewer and was in the audience that night. As a 13 year old, it certainly left a lasting impression. Such superstars I saw that night… The Wombles, Alvin Stardust, Linda Lewis, The Rollers !! Now as I approach 50 (eek) with two grand-kids of my own, I wanted to say thanks for being a part of my childhood. I may be thousands of miles away from London these days but I’ll never forget growing up there.

They were great fun days, all pre-Tiswas but I was flattered to be the one to be first with a Saturday morning kids show – it led the way for all the others. Saturday Scene was recorded in the corner of the World of Sport studio… just me, a desk and a chair sitting in front of a notice board – with one camera!
The Pop Awards certainly were one of the highlights for me, great show, good friends and a wonderful audience… glad you remember it as fondly as I do.
